LA4: Presenting the Results of Research (Analysis)

Image
Analyzing my results from my survey I have completed my survey results and have ten responses from different people, all of the questions shown below are all related to films and tv shows. My results on question 1 showed me that 60% of my ten responses prefers Horror themed movies other then other related categories. This shows that higher percentage of audiences enjoys horror themed films.  Statistics shown in question 2 shows that half of the audience watches adult (mature) ratings in a film more then lower age ratings in other films. In this question i found out people enjoys the more modern movie timeline in present day more then movies from before 2010. This shows that more people prefers todays modern day movie industry.  The reason i asked this question is that at that time thought action movies were still very popular and based on the ones i watched. The most popular thing that people want to see in an action movie is Gangsters and 40% of people voted for that. P...

Three Point Lighting 1.1: How it is Used,

Image
Key light A key light mainly highlights the form of the subject. The key light is usually the most important type of lighting and it is best used for beginners as it is the most basic type of lighting, there are many types of key lighting, for example: a low key lighting setup can allow you to make a darker atmosphere whilst a high key setup does the opposite and creates brighter backgrounds.   Back light The purpose of using a back light is to control the technique of lighting. A back light is usually placed behind/near a person/object (or at right angles). the back light is used for mainly lighting effects such as depth or Separation of the subject and the background. Perfect for making visual effects come to life.       Fill light The purpose of this type of lighting is to reduce contrast during photography, filming or during a stage performance etc. In many cases mostly, this type of lighting is placed in front or beside the subject. the purpose of that is to eli...

How to use a Camera (Canon) 1.1: How it is Used,

Using a Camera (Canon)  Step 1: To turn the camera on there is an on and off switch on the top right end above on the camera, flick the switch up if you want the camera switched on or flick the switch down if you wish to switch it off. Also take the cover off the lens so you can see what’s displayed on the screen. Step 2: look at the Icons on the top of your camera, you can twist them left or right to select different modes, though personally it’s easier if you just use the regular photo and video mode since they are simple and are one of the most common uses in many movie projects. Step 3: make sure you adjust the camera lens so it will help with focus by twisting it left or right, Behind the lenses you can twist the stick as well to help zoom in and out, or you can press the + button with the magnifying glass symbol. Press the + button a few times and it will zoom back out.  Step 4: You can press the camera icon button once if you are taking a photo, you can press the camera...

LA1 Use research methods and techniques to gather material - Qualitative interview

Image
What i have been doing recently is that after i have done my quantitive survey, i have created a video of me asking a selection of questions which are based on the results of my previous survey.  I made another survey that is qualitative but written on paper. unlike the quantitive survey i asked for people's opinions on the movie industry rather then a selection of random options that they can choose from. the whole point of this is to help analyze my results from my previous survey and to find out more details on people's point of views in the movie industry. this would have helped me to decide on what type of audience i could aim for. Here is a video of me doing the interview.

LA1 Use research methods and techniques to gather material - Quantitative Survey

Image
Quantitative Survey Research I have signed into a website called survey monkey, it allows me to create questionnaires with unique and different questions that people can answer and there is no right or wrong answer, everyone has a different opinion which is why I am collecting them from different  people using specific questions, such as ‘What movie genre do you prefer?’ etc.   In order to gain responses from other people i had to share a link/QR codes on Microsoft teams so that people can access and answer my survey. A total of ten people have responded to my quantitiative survey.  The whole point of my survey is after you ask people the questions, you give them all a selection of different answers that they can choose from. People will select different answers and it is basically like a popularity contest the answer that gets selected the most is usually the most popular and that means more people will have that answer as their preference then the other ones. This resea...

There will be pistons equipped on the legs which helps the user leap slightly higher or to help boost people whilst running. Level 2 Media Introduction to pitching a media Product 1.1 & 1.2

My Idea for a factual teen show My idea was about a 15 year old boy who lives with a family and his daily struggles at home and school, the show's name is called "A typical life" this show will contain bits of Comedy, Drama, Romance and Action and this show i made up is aimed at 13-16 year olds (Mainly Teenagers). this show will fictionally be aired daily on channel 4 and will last an hour and half of different episodes starting in chroniclogical order between 7:00-8:30pm.    My idea for a TV Quiz Show This show is called "Right on target" and basically the show starts with 4 randomly selected competitors, each competitor comes with a plastic crossbow that comes with three darts. Whenever someone answers a question correctly they automatically adds 50 pounds to their total, then they would use the crossbow and fire a dart on the dart board and depending on where the dart will hit you will earn a certain amount, you will can earn from 50-500 pounds. after each r...

LA3: Learn About Research Techniques

Techniques There are many ways of doing research, you can find sources from internet access but it is highly recommended that you use trusted and secure websites when looking for information online, studying with books is another way to do research as reading helps you to gain knowledge on the topic of your choice, you can also study other people by observing them during interviews to help gain knowledge.  Where would you get your information and when? When using a computer you can look up and search any topic of your choice, you can use either google or other browsers to help look up and find information from different websites, but be careful as not all sites are useful for research as websites like the wikipedia may have useful information but some of it can be false as anyone can have access into this website and make changes to the subject, you are better off with more trustworthy and more accurate sites like BBC Bitesize since only the developers of this page can ...
