How to set up a Tripod 1.1: How it is Used,

A Simple guide of setting up a Tripod Step 1: Start by releasing the tripod legs, in order to do so you must extend the tripod legs, the best method of doing it is to extend from the top down rather than extending from the bottom leg section up. This will help make your tripod more stable that way. Step 2: Release each leg in turn of the height you need. It's better to extend all of the tripod legs to the maximum length rather the getting the height you need for a centre column. Note: only extend the centre column if you need to. As you place your tripod to the ground make sure that once you mount your camera (like a Canon) the leg should be pointing forward and the two side legs should be adjusted so that you will be less likely to knock the tripod during recording. Step 3: Now that you're done, you can now attach the camera to a base plate of the tripod, each tripod will include a baseplate), which clips/clamps the camera into place into the head of the plate...

LA2: Use Research Techniques To Investigate an Existing Media Product: Storyboards

Image
What is a storyboard and it's purpose? Storyboards are essential especially in pre-production as they are used to plan and visualise a story, traditionally in pre-film productions or before television shows, storyboards are used as a method to plan and carry out your project, for instance, if you do not have a storyboard you will not be able to carry out your project properly as there is nothing to visualise. Here is an example of a storyboard: This Storyboard template should give you an idea of what one could look like, it is up to you on how you could use a storyboard as long as you include drawing and text or just drawings if its just visuals and no dialogue etc.  Some Storyboards can be just drawn simply or just professionally, there are no standards in the art style of your drawing as long as the audience understand what is supposed to happen in the pictures below.     This is a basic hand drawn Storyboard in a 2d perspective, it shows what happens in the story ...

Individual Visual Effect Project 2.1 Planning and Filming,

Image
What kind of effect is it?  The visual effect I am planning to make is a fire effect, as well as using visual effects I would like to create an orange based lighting that surrounds the fire effect, for example: in this image here, is how I want mine to turn out;  . Using virtual effects I want to create fire, it should be an orange flame, with a glow right around it. there are different ways I can make this effect come to life. Like I said before I can use a virtual visual effect using computer software, including green screen etc. to add an orange glow I can either use: Three point lighting (adjusting the lighting to a certain brightness to make it look as the fire is creating a glowing effect near the subject, or using the effects option.  When would I like to use the effect? There are many alternative ways for me to use the fire effect, for instance I can either use, a flamethrower effect, a fire burning a building, someone with supernatural fire powers or ...

Evaluation of what I did on Monday 23rd of November 2.1 Planning and Filming,

What I previously did I have created a visual effect with a spaceship flying using green screen. There is a trick into making this effect, to make it work you will need a prop that looks like a spaceship using invisible thread. To perform the effect first you must set up your green screen, once you've done so you can then get the thread ready and cut it into any length you wish, once you are done you can then tie the tread and connect it to the spaceship, the thread will be hard to notice if the lighting isn't directly pointing to the string. I have created clips of the spaceship using a canon and recorded some clips, once I am happy with what I recorded, I started using Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 and added the clips to my project, once done I have went to google and chosen an image, the one I selected will be the background for the clip. Here is an example of what i have done:

Research Into Film Proposals

Image
What is a film proposal? A film proposal is about how you can come up with an idea and how that idea will be executed in a film, for instance if you are a film director who works for a Company or individually, and wants a budget to make a film then you will have to come up with a proposal, in that case you will need to convince someone in order to allow you to have a budget for a film and why that it is important etc. The company that he/she borrows money from will only give the money if that person can convince them why they should let him/her create a film, the idea must be convincing and should be aimed at a large audience group so that profit can easily be made and that the borrowed money can be returned without any bankruptcy or debt,  although you can choose what your audience is but making a film that is aimed at a larger group rather then individuals is highly more successful that way. Ideas will need to be specific in order to be convincing an...

Planning my product 1.1 & 2.2

What is my plan about?  I have planned and created my presentation which is about my product, my product relates to sporty shoes but it's an upgraded version that has improved features, from grip, comfort or even durability etc. It currently has five slides and so far with each one have a transition and an animation. In order to create my product I need to know my budget and how it will make an impact, and will people want to buy it? What are it's purpose and features? etc. My plan is to show my enthusiasm and try to engage my audience and describe the features and why they must buy the product using persuasion. In order to persuade my audience i will present them the positives and as little negatives as possible and what to expect to this product for example: explaining the reasons why this product is effective and this make an impact of your daily lives and if the price is worth it.

Research Into Genre

Image
Plan for my short film idea (including genre etc.) Genre have I selected and why? I have selected the action genre as It is one of my personal favourite and it is the Second most popular genre in terms of Market share, and with a high total box office of ' $47,320,511,189'.   I have chosen this genre  because  I  have an interest of action genres and  I  have previous knowledge of them since  I  watched these types of films. Genres that include action that  I  watch are also mixed with other Genres like, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Comedy, Romance etc. What Audience should  I  aim for? It depends on what type of genre  I  use along with action, most action films that  I  watch personally are rated for people aged 12 and above whilst some are 15 and very few that  I  watch are 18 and over. My idea of an action film will not be aimed for adults but not for children neither but instead, the film will...
