Short Movie Script


(EXT Field) Two young Lads from college are outside of a college campus in an empty field carrying some Equipment doing some filming, when they plan to leave they are approached by an Unknown figure With a robotic like posture and speech, although he seemed to look like a familiar ex-student from college. 

UNKNOWN:

Halt! Where do you think that you two are going? This camera doesn't belong to you.

COLLEGE STUDENT 1: 

This has nothing to do with you and your business!

COLLEGE STUDENT 2: 

Yeah come on man! Get lost!

UNKNOWN: 

There is nothing for you both to hide, I know that you two have our stolen tech.

The two Students looked at each other looking Confused, and murmured to one another until one of them speaks. 

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

Wait... you're JASON right? I remembered you! You used to work in the cafeteria, and left college last year after passing your course.

UNKNOWN:

Maybe I should make things more clearer, you are handling forbidden technology that is Government property, his orders is to send me here to retrieve the tech, and you are both in the way.

COLLEGE STUDENT 01:

What are you talking about? do you mean this? (Shows Camera) but... we are just making a video.

UNKNOWN: 

It is our technology! And it must be returned...

COLLEGE STUDENT 02: 

Say what now? Oh... So it's like that huh?

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

Look, we got things to do right now... so unless you want to help out with our movie you better leave.

COLLEGE STUDENT 02: 

Yeah Mate, or Get lost.

UNKNOWN: 

Then you left me no choice...

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

Don't take it personal but that ain't your camera alright? what would you want to do with it?.

COLLEGE STUDENT 02: 

Look Jason We need to get this movie over with alright?

UNKNOWN:

JASON IS NOT HERE...

COLLEGE STUDENT 02:

 What are you on about like?

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

(To Student 02) You know... he doesn't really seem to be acting like himself lately, we should probably leave.

COLLEGE STUDENT 2: 

Aw just stuff it like, let's just get this film done and over with!

UNKNOWN: 

WE... ARE NOT ALONE...

COLLEGE STUDENT 01:

(Whispers to Student 02) Something's not right about him.

UNKNOWN: 

BB-1667 and B-1217, ENGAGE PROTOCOL.

Two Mysterious Figures that moves and speaks in a robotic like voice enters the scene.

Robot 01 (BB-1667): 

AFFIRMATIVE.

Robot 02 (B-1217: 

ROGER.

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

Wait what's happening?

UNKNOWN: 

By orders of the Government protection agency you must return the equipment at once or SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!   

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

This isn't right... You can't be the real Jason!

UNKNOWN: 

Begin termination protocols in 3...

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: 

Joel lets just hand over the camera already!

UNKNOWN: 

2...

COLLEGE STUDENT 02: No Brad, We spent almost a year in this film production what makes you think that i-

UNKNOWN: 

1...

COLLEGE STUDENT 01: Just drop the damn camera already Joel!

(Two robots knock them both out)

ROBOT 01: Tech Retrieved, what now sir?

UKNOWN: Bring them to the Robotisizer! If they refuse to co-operate they will become one of us instead, now Let us leave.

ROBOT 01 AND 02: Affirmative! 

Everyone teleports and disappears from the scene

Evaluation of what I did on Monday 23rd of November 2.1 Planning and Filming,

 What I previously did I have created a visual effect with a spaceship flying using green screen. There is a trick into making this effect, to make it work you will need a prop that looks like a spaceship using invisible thread. To perform the effect first you must set up your green screen, once you've done so you can then get the thread ready and cut it into any length you wish, once you are done you can then tie the tread and connect it to the spaceship, the thread will be hard to notice if the lighting isn't directly pointing to the string. I have created clips of the spaceship using a canon and recorded some clips, once I am happy with what I recorded, I started using Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 and added the clips to my project, once done I have went to google and chosen an image, the one I selected will be the background for the clip.
